• Calistoga resident Audrey Lattemore turned 99 last month. After a lifetime of rice farming near Sacramento, Audrey now lives in her older sister’s house, a house left to her nephew, Robert Grahn, under the caveat that Audrey would be able to reside there as long as she lives.

“I don’t think anyone thought I would live this long…longevity runs in my family, but not this much!”

Audrey is totally independent. She gets around well, her hearing is perfect and she is as sharp as anyone half her age. But, the most impressive fact about Audrey is that she is able to turn out 15 quilts each month for veteran hospitals. She is proud of her quilts and the fact that she can still contribute at age 99.
