Dimond High seniors and long-boarders David Tinilla and Justin Camillo on Tenth Avenue near G Street, Anchorage. "Like most Alaskans I fish, camp, and hunt in the summer time but I'm also quite fond of my city...I often hear my peers claiming there's nothing to do here, or that we lack culture. As an Anchorage youth I believe it's our responsibility to work with our given circumstances to make the best of it. Anchorage started as a tent city, a city of canvases you might say. I think we should paint our picture and leave an imprint. With longboarding, it's not so much the transportation that makes it great, it's the freedom."
