Ron Laubenstein while out for a walk from Elaine's Place, assisted living home in Anchorage's South Addition neighborhood. "...Ron grew up in Anchorage in Nunaka Valley. He worked as a graphic designer and his work and art were in great demand. His brain is shrinking due to hydrocephalus. The condition is terminal, there is no treatment. (His is) not a big name or one in Alaska's history books, but a heart that is full of life in this state and what it means to live here. He has been such a sweet and kind man and the love of my life." -Karen Laubenstein
